5008 Timberland is a seven-home residential development featuring two modern farmhouse prototypes designed around the owner’s program and development goals. DAC led the architectural and early site-planning effort, establishing the overall development concept while balancing site conditions, access, infrastructure, and the relationship between the individual homes.
DAC’s involvement began at the development level, leading site design, coordinating the pre-application process, and retaining and working alongside the project’s civil engineering team as the property advanced through development. This early coordination allowed the site strategy and architecture to develop together rather than as separate efforts. The community is organized around two multilevel residential prototypes, providing variation in size and program while maintaining a consistent architectural language throughout the development. Prototype A provides approximately 2,533 square feet of conditioned living area with four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a two-car garage, while Prototype B expands to approximately 3,544 square feet with six bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and a two-car garage.
The resulting design combines contemporary farmhouse architecture with a coordinated development strategy, carrying the project from early site feasibility into the design of the individual residences.
