Gallery Beauty Co. is a commercial tenant improvement and change-of-use project transforming an existing mercantile tenant space into a contemporary beauty salon in Tampa, Florida. DAC Architects developed the architectural permit documents and helped shape the interior layout to support the salon’s operations, customer experience, and overall flow.
The space was organized around individual styling stations, a dedicated shampoo area, customer waiting and check-in zones, storage, and an ADA-compliant restroom. The planning focused on creating an open, functional salon environment with a clear relationship between customer-facing and support spaces while working within the constraints of the existing strip-center footprint.
DAC Architects also coordinated the project’s code, accessibility, life safety, occupant load, and plumbing fixture requirements through the permitting process. The completed space brings the planning and architectural scope together with the salon’s interior finishes and branding to create a cohesive environment tailored to Gallery Beauty Co.’s day-to-day operations and client experience.
